Tonya is a video editor, producer and writer focused on storytelling. She graduated with a degree in Television from Ferris State University in Michigan, and since then has worked in various facets of the industry.
When she’s not telling stories, you can find her outside running (beach and trails), hiking, playing beach volleyball (fitness is her second love), and watching movies. She also loves spending time working on her personal finance blog of six years, Budget and the Beach.
In this episode we talk about Tonya’s blog which started as a result of being laid off and dealing with financial stress associated with it, decisions that led her to consider moving, steps to take if you’re thinking of moving, how to tell if a city is going to be your home, hidden fees and negotiating some activation fees, and more!
