Charlie Javice is the founder and CEO of Frank, an online platform designed to streamline and simplify the application process for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), enabling millions of students to access billions in free federal aid.
Prior to Frank, Charlie was the Founder and Executive Director of PoverUP, an online platform designed to help interested students learn more about starting microfinance clubs, getting social-enterprise internships, and supporting microfinance organizations. In 2011 PoverUP was featured as one Inc. Magazine’s “Coolest College Startup’s”.
At 19, Charlie was named one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative Business People” and her work has been featured on CNBC’s Thiel Foundation’s “20 under 20” special, TV Tokyo and alongside Ms. Cherie Blair’s on 85Broads’ CEO Roundup.
Charlie received her B.S from the Wharton School of Business (WUG ’13) at the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Operations Research, Finance and Law.
